For Tom Petty Fans, the True Sound of Vinyl, Also Captured on a CD
Warner Brothers Records packages the new Mudcrutch* vinyl with CD. But the cd is different then most. It’s been mastered exactly like the vinyl which means that it’s quieter and there is more range in sounds. I, for one, would definitely be interested in giving it a listen. It’s for the audiohpile in each of us waiting to bust out.
I particularly dig packaging the cd with the vinyl because it really sounds like the people behind the packaging took into account that this is something that the Mudcrutch audience would like. They actually thought about what would make it a better experience for the fans and listeners. And well, that rocks.
