I find it compeltely annoying that the Vimeo/CV people are the ones at the heart of this diagram. To sound like a whiney bitch for a minute, when I post something awesome, it hits the big internet/tumblr void and disappears. Two months later, the Vimeo/VC people will come across it and suddenly it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. This speaks more to my ability to find and market aprilini.com to an audience that cares than their ability to use their own platform to promote their own taste but seriously, it feels like this exclusive club and frankly, goes against the tumblr community feeling.
