Need a Home Pt 2
For anyone following me for awhile, you already know I’m looking for a new place to live in the city. Well the housemates have a ‘we’d like you leave by’ date of May 1. They think its reasonable but then again, they haven’t been looking ;) Here goes one more time:
I am looking for new digs. Anyone that has tried to find a room on Craigslist in San Francisco knows how dire these times are. I’ve been looking for a room in an existing home several months now with no success! If you have a friend or a friend of a friend who is looking for a housemate, please let me know and pass that information along. The friend of a friend thing has almost worked a couple times and I’d like to try this method with nice local internet friends.
In typical SF fashion, I will state my open-mindedness and then follow that up with a list of rigid preferences. I am open-minded to a variety of housing situations BUT… I really would like to stay in the Mission (and limited Noe/Bernal). Timeline for me is to move is anytime between now and May 1st. And let’s keep it reasonable, nothing over $900/month. I presently live in the party house and this grandma has grown weary. Peaceful households preferred. But not TOO peaceful because if I wanted to live with that lady’s mom in her townhouse, I would have called her back myself. A household of twentysomethings and early 30’s would be ideal.
