Laptops Are Awesome, Here’s Why
This is going out to the massive echo-chamber but can I just shout one more time:
I AM SO EXCITED TO BE GETTING A NEW LAPTOP!!!!!!!
I will be able to do normal things like contribute to our new SF music blog Attacked by Jackets, and actually use cool tutorials online because I will have a computer to myself to get and use the directions. I’ll be able to watch videos that are longer than 5 minutes and actually be able to read things I bookmark online fully. I can take my computer anywhere whether it be to another state or my neighbors house. I won’t have to ask anyone if I can borrow their computer for a minute to check for an important email I’m expecting. I can do all my PERSONAL things that should be done on your own computer NOT at work and won’t feel guilty if I do check something quickly. I’ll be able to check my finances online without much paranoia, respond to emails in the evenings when I should actually be checking them. I can write things at length without guilt, install fun games, software, music. Work on projects, make sure I have my documents backed-up, get dongles. The possibilities are endless. I am so excited about all the projects I can work on. Can you tell?
Its been a year (!!!) since mine bit the dust, and man oh man and I excited about getting another one. And in time for SXSW too! Do you properly appreciate your laptop?
