I don’t use tumblr to be followed. To be honest, I use Tumblr for selfish reasons. I use it to bookmark things I personally want to save, to take notes, or capture images I enjoy.
If people want to follow along, go for it, but I can’t be bothered with worrying if it is annoying someone else.

Here here! There should be a league of selfish tumblr users. I post what I like, what I want to remember, what I think is interesting and what I think other people might find interesting sometimes. And its usually kind of a lot. But that’s a better indicator of how much STUFF I come across any given day. I don’t do it because I want other people to hear my voice, I do it because I want to hear my own voice which gets lost in everything else.
