10 Musicans Are Welcome To My New Years Party
We already had our Christmas Party here at IODA, and it was a blast. So I’m amending the idea with 10 Musicans I Want To Invite To Our New Years Eve Party:
1. Pop Levi- Nevermind, just the adorable bassist. Speaking of which, something I need to listen to RIGHT NOW. Brillant! (basically my hero.)
2. Sufjan Stevens- wings for everyone!
3. Devendra Banhart- because you can never have too much crazy
3. Gunther- to offset any amount of class that Fred Estair would provide should they both show up
4. Mozart- Rock me.
5. Apparat- Only if he performed. Seriously. No entrance without musical electronics
6. Frank Black- I once had a dream that he and I got up on a picnic benches and sang Havalina at my Birthday party. This would be the next best thing.
7. Fred Astaire- classy, timeless, wall dancer, everything a news years party should be.
8. Bjork- We’d make music with the glasses and tupperware in the kitchen!
9. Devin the Dude- EJ says that this guy is the shit. And I believe him. Welcome!
10. Plastic Little- Whoever came up with Rap O’Clock is more than welcome.
